On January 5, MCC Huatian won the bid for the General Contract Project of Gas Holder and Converter Gas Pressurization System of Capacity Replacement and Upgrading Project of Yuxi Yukun Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (Yuxi Yukun Iron and Steel), which demonstrated MCC Huatian's technical strength in the field of green, low-carbon and high-quality development of steel.

The General Contract Project of Yuxi Yukun Iron and Steel's Gas Holder and Converter Gas Pressurization System is located in Dahua Industrial Park, Eshan Yizu Autonomous County, Yuxi, Yunnan. This project is to build a 150,000 m³ single-section rubber film sealed blast furnace gas holder, two 80,000 m³ single-section rubber membrane sealed converter gas holders, a converter gas pressurizing station and its supporting facilities by EPC general contracting. This project is bounded by the basic red line of the gas holder, and the general contracting contents include the design, complete sets of equipment, procurement, supply, installation, air load debugging, etc.

This project will absorb the design experience of single-section rubber membrane gas holder accumulated by MCC Huatian in recent ten years, and adopt the Company's unique patented technology in key parts such as piston spherical shell, piston fence and sealing mechanism to achieve the goals of energy saving, consumption reduction, high efficiency and investment saving. After the completion of this project, the single-section rubber membrane gas holder will realize the large-scale, high-pressure, high-speed operation and economic development.
